Are those last cupcakes made with fondant? They look like they’re of a different texture, and all the more impressive if they aren’t fondant.
Nope, they’re not fondant! I intensely dislike fondant, so this is fortunate. On the roses there is almost as much icing as cupcake, which is why I love them so much. (I will take you to that bakery when you visit New York again!)
Ooh, where is this? I know there are cupcake places around, but I haven’t really investigated yet…
You don’t know this place because it is actually a bakery in Hoboken! I’m sure there are plenty of good cupcake places in Manhattan proper, however, and someday we need to pay a visit to the ever-so-temptingly named Burgers & Cupcakes.
