I made this last night (because now I have leftover marsala from the sausage and peppers, and am apparently way too lazy to find new recipes these days) and it was tres delicious. I forgot the butter at the end but still fantastic. <3 Then again it’s hard to go wrong with mushrooms + sweet wine…

Yes it was very tasty…I wish there had been more leftovers! We still have a lot of marsala left, so maybe I will try it. Also your new recipe uses it! We’ll probably try that this weekend. Unfortunately tonight’s dinner will be leftover Thai food stolen from lab meeting

Awesome! I’m so glad you guys liked it. Also, on a different note, I tried some of the marsala straight last night and it was surprisingly good. The extra alcohol gives it that extra kick so at first pass it’s a lot like straight liquor, but then the finish is really smooth and wine-like. It makes for a good (albeit strong) dessert wine!
